Increase and Overflow
This morning was a little different for me. I was speaking at Genetik to a group of 20 young people on the issue of 'Post-Modernism and Politics - Making Jesus Famous in our Culture'. I had a great time and we had some fruitful and lively discussion. I'll try and share some of the stuff I covered in future weeks.
God has been speaking to me about increase and overflow - they're such great terms that describe the Kingdom of God in so many ways.

1 Thessalonians 3:12
I believe that God wants to see increase and overflow right across his Church. An Increase in love and an overflow of joy, an increase in faith and an overflow of peace, an increase in salvation and healings, and an overflow of communities being transformed.
The Holy Spirit is all about increase and overflow - he is always wanting to fill us to overflowing so that we can impact the world around us with the life of Christ.
For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks

The Holy Spirit will fill our hearts and mouths so that we can proclaim and speak out the glory of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. His Kingdom is on the increase, his spirit has been poured without measure - Now is the time to see the increase and overflow of his power in our homes, churches, and cities. There is no limit to the increase and overflow that God intends for his Church.
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this
